Five treats to make in a heatwave
With temperatures set to soar this week, I’m guessing the majority of you will avoid turning on the oven. And I don’t blame you…28 degrees is hot enough, thank you very much…
But just because we have to suffer through the heat, doesn’t mean we have to do so without a little treat!
Here’s a helpful list of easy, no-bake desserts for hot summer days.
- Biscoff Rocky Road
If you’re a Biscoff fan, then this is THE recipe for you. Not only does it combine three of my favourite sweet treats – Biscoff spread, white chocolate and marshmallows – it’s also so quick and easy to throw together. That means minimal washing up and zero oven time. Simply melt your chocolate, stir in your ingredients and set.

If you’re looking for a recipe that’s super easy to throw together, then look no further. These tasty little truffles are made with a no fuss, no bake recipe that only requires four ingredients and just 90 minutes of your time. And guys, most of that is freezer time. I told you it was easy…

- Marshmallow Rice Krispie Squares
Do marshmallow squares take anyone else right back to childhood? I would always beg my mum to buy them! But it turns out, making them is much more fun. All you need is one heatproof bowl, one spatula and a microwave. Minimal mess for maximum gooey, sticky, marshmallowy goodness!

- Chocolate Bark
If you’re not familiar with chocolate Bark, I think the best way to describe it is jazzing up a bog-standard chocolate bar. Simply melt your favourite chocolate, spread it out and top with something yummy – marshmallows, nuts, fruit, more chocolate…whatever your heart desires.

- Homemade Bounty Bars
What’s not to love about bounty bars? Sweet coconut in a delicious milk chocolate shell. I don’t understand why so many people avoid them in the Celebrations box. If you’re a fan of the fantastic combination that is chocolate and coconut, then click the link below and give them a go!
